Muscular Therapy is the foundation of Mahina Massage Studio. It's a method of massage based on the layering of techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Passive Body(Energy Work), Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy. When combining these modalities during a session it increases the ability to address each client based on their bodies response to different forms of touch.
Prenatal Massage has become a vital part of Mahina Massage Studio by giving Mothers the physical support they need during pregnancy and postpartum. These sessions blend holding space physically and emotionally knowing that becoming a Mother, whether it be for the first time or third is a different experience each time.
Pregnancy Massage can enhance your connection to your unborn child. It's a conscious way to be engaged with stillness and relaxation. It opens doors to being present and connected with breath and baby.
Induction Massage is a method of blending Acupressure points with Muscular Therapy. Asi has been developing this technique over the past 3 years. Most Mothers have a vision of birthing their baby in the most Holistic way. There are many benefits to Induction Massage such as reducing stress, getting connected to your body, and by releasing energy that is blocked by pressing uterine contraction points.
At the end of the day there is no guarantee because babies come when they're ready! I've had significant results with offering this technique for many expecting Mothers. If you have any questions in regards to this type of Massage please contact me directly!!!
Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art form. It delivers a deeply meditative and relaxing massage through sequencing of static pressure and stretches. Thai massage is received fully clothed on a mat on the floor.
Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique using deep strokes from the Therapists feet. There are two parallel bars that run above the massage table. This allows the Therapist to be able to adjust pressure and move to different areas of the body in a balanced manner. This method allows the Therapist to use gravity and their body weight to provide a deeper massage. Since the foot is a broader surface it allows clients to receive greater pressure.
